    The consulting program of the Faculty of Business and Management, INPROFO Consulting, focuses on supporting start-ups and existing companies especially in the area of strategy, business model, brand development, business idea development, marketing and team development.

    Current activities of the programme are also developed in collaboration with the VUT contriBUTe ecosystem - ContriBUTe - VUT

    The activities of this programme are aimed at three target groups:

    VUT start up and spin off companies

    • This part of the programme was launched in parallel with the development of the BUT contriBUTe ecosystem, which promotes entrepreneurship, innovation and collaboration at BUT. As part of these activities, INPROFO consulting offers consultations, workshops and networking opportunities to help BUT start-ups and spin-offs, especially in the area of idea development, validation and business model development phases, and also offers support in brand or team development.

    Start-up companies aka "BUT Born"

    • In this area, support is offered to start-up individuals, teams and entrepreneurs or companies by students and staff of the BUT. It does not necessarily have to be an innovative start up. In particular, BUT Born focuses on idea development, validation and research, business model development, brand development and team development support.

    Existing companies and organisations

    • This area targets at existing companies, regardless of whether they are directly linked to the BUT. It involves consulting on all areas of strategic development of companies and organisations. Each cooperation is dealt individually according to the problem to be solved and the needs of the client. All areas of business model development and related research and training support are addressed thematically.

     

    Forms of Cooperation

    One-off consultation

    • A one-off consultation usually also serves as an initial consultation for possible further cooperation. The aim is mainly to identify the company's problem and suggest possible approaches to a solution.

    Consultation workshops

    • This form of collaboration includes anything from four-hour workshops to one-week hackathon-type events. These workshops use a variety of intensive problem-solving approaches such as rapid prototyping, validation, discussion techniques, the use of AI, etc. Each workshop is individually tailored to the company's requirements. Its preparation requires one to three consultations and the workshop includes the preparation of the final report. Typical issues addressed in these workshops include brand development, visual identity, business idea development and innovation, team development solutions, etc.

    Long-term cooperation

    • This form of cooperation involves activities ranging from a few months to multi-year support. A specific area here is the use of student involvement in problem solving within semester projects. Multi-year collaboration is typically used to support the strategic development of a company, where a range of approaches such as workshops, research implementation, coaching and mentoring, collaboration on solution development, training activities, etc. are used during the different phases of plan development and implementation.
