Summer Program at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń
We are pleased to invite students to participate in the upcoming Toruń Economic and Legal Summer Program (TELSP 2025), Poland. This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance students' research skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive and engaging environment.
TELSP offers international students interested in Economics, Management, Finance and Law disciplines a possibility to lead a 4-week-long summer research project in one of the following topics:
ECONOMICS, MANAGEMENT AND FINANCE:
The Role of Central and Eastern Europe in the Global Economy Amid the Challenges of War in Ukraine
- Energy Transition in Central and Eastern Europe: Between Security and Sustainability
- Sustainable and Responsible Tourism in Central and Eastern Europe: Adapting to Post-Pandemic and Geopolitical Challenges
- ESG reporting- comparative analysis
- Digitalization - an opportunity or a challenge in the context of sustainable development of enterprises
- Sustainable development
- Sustainable consumption
LAW:
- Criminological and criminal law aspects of domestic animal welfare abuse
- Human rights law – an idea or a practical concept?
- The impact of EU directives on the standard of equal treatment in EU countries
- International human rights standards and their domestic implementation
- Inclusive and pluralistic societies. A human rights approach
- The future of constitutionalism in times of crisis
- Working time reduction - a win-win proposition for employee and employer?
- Generation Z on the Labour Market
The program will be held from 18th of August till 14th of September 2025 and will consist of a series of lectures, seminars, workshops, and field trips related to various aspects of economic and legal systems. The curriculum will be delivered by experienced academics and professionals from the fields of economics and law, who will provide an in-depth analysis of key topics and concepts.
In addition to academic activities, the program will also include various cultural and social events, allowing students to experience the rich history and culture of Toruń and Poland. These activities will include guided tours of historical sites, visits to local museums and galleries, and cultural performances.
The program is open to students from our university partners, and we encourage you to share this invitation with your students who may be interested in participating. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain valuable knowledge and skills, and to expand their professional and personal networks.
For each participant, we will offer (for free) the student housing in Toruń and a daily allowance of 70 PLN (~15 euro), which is sufficient to cover the costs of living during the stay in Poland.
Students will be offered single occupancy rooms in the dormitories of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń in our Campus.
Please, have in mind that all costs of travel and insurance for the whole period of stay in Torun must be covered by the student.
